Residential & Commercial Relocation FAQ
Looking for a reliable house moving service in Hull and East Yorkshire? We offer safe, affordable and stress-free relocations for flats, houses and offices. Our team handles packing, loading, transport and protection of your belongings with care.
How much does a house move cost?
The cost of a house move in the UK depends on several factors, including the distance, the volume of belongings, and any additional services such as packing or furniture assembly. Request a personalised quote for an accurate price.
Are there any hidden fees?
We do not charge hidden fees. However, additional costs may apply for stairs, heavy items, long carry distances, or limited access. We always recommend requesting a full quote to understand all potential charges.
How early should I book my move?
We advise booking your house moving service at least 4–6 weeks in advance to ensure availability for your preferred date, especially during busy seasons.
Will my items be protected?
Yes. We use professional packing materials, including blankets, wraps, and protective covers, to ensure your belongings are transported safely and securely.
Is insurance included?
Basic moving insurance is included with all services. Additional insurance can be purchased if you need extended coverage for high-value items.
Small Freight Transport FAQ
Looking for fast and reliable small freight transport in Hull and East Yorkshire? We handle LTL and FTL shipments, secure packing, paperwork, and real-time tracking. Affordable rates, flexible load options, and safe delivery for businesses and individuals.
What’s the difference between LTL and FTL?
LTL (Less-Than-Truckload) means your goods share space with other shipments, making it a cost-effective option for smaller loads.FTL (Full Truckload) means you book the entire vehicle for your own freight, ideal for larger, time-sensitive, or high-value shipments.
How should I pack my items?
Use strong, durable boxes and appropriate padding. Clearly label all items with handling instructions and destination details. For fragile or high-value goods, we recommend professional packing materials or specialist packaging support.
What documents do I need?
For domestic transport, a Bill of Lading is required. For international shipments, additional customs documentation, commercial invoices, and other compliance papers may be needed depending on the destination country.
Can I track my shipment?
No, unfortunately this feature is still in development.
How is pricing calculated?
Pricing is based on size, weight, delivery distance, service type, and required speed. Other factors, such as special handling or additional services, may also influence the final cost. Request a tailored quote for accurate pricing.
Professional Yard & Property Cleaning
Need fast and affordable garden clearance in Hull and East Yorkshire? We remove green waste, junk, old furniture and fully tidy any outdoor space. Licensed, reliable, and available for everything from small clean-ups to heavily overgrown gardens.
What does garden clearance include?
Garden clearance typically involves the removal of green waste, garden rubbish, junk, old furniture, branches, leaves, and general outdoor debris. We also provide light tidying to leave your garden clean and ready to use.
How is pricing done?
Pricing for garden clearance services is based on the volume of waste, the time required, and the type of materials being removed. Some jobs may qualify for a fixed quote depending on the details.
Do I need to be there?
Not always. As long as access to your garden is arranged, we can complete the job without your presence. This is especially convenient for busy clients or landlords.
Are you licensed to remove waste?
Yes, we are fully authorised waste carriers and hold the appropriate UK waste carrier licences, ensuring all waste is disposed of in compliance with environmental regulations.
Can you clear very overgrown gardens?
Absolutely. We specialise in clearing heavily overgrown gardens, including thick vegetation, long grass, brambles, and neglected outdoor spaces in any condition.

Are you available 24/7?
Our 24/7 vehicle towing service operates day and night, including weekends and bank holidays. You can request assistance at any time.
What types of vehicles can you tow?
We tow most cars, vans, motorbikes, and light commercial vehicles. If you let us know the vehicle model in advance, we can ensure the appropriate tow truck is dispatched.
What if my car was towed without notice?
If your car has been removed without prior notice, contact your local council or enforcement authority. They can confirm the location of your vehicle and advise on any release fees that may apply.
Is towing covered by insurance?
We can tow your vehicle at any time. In some cases, your insurance may refund the towing cost if your policy includes breakdown or recovery cover. If you're unsure, a quick check with your insurer will confirm whether they provide reimbursement.
Vehicle Buying & Sales
Selling or buying a car in the UK can be straightforward when you know the required documents, valuation methods, and safe-selling practices. Our Car Buying & Selling FAQ provides clear guidance on logbooks, MOT requirements, finance settlements, trade-in options, and essential safety tips for private sales.
What documents do I need to sell my car?
You’ll need the V5C logbook, a valid MOT certificate, and any available service history records. Providing full documentation helps increase buyer confidence and may improve your selling price.
How can I check my car’s value?
Use trusted online valuation tools and compare your vehicle with similar listings in your area. Checking multiple sources ensures a more accurate and realistic market value.
Can I sell a car with outstanding finance?
Yes, you can sell a car with outstanding finance, but the remaining balance must be settled during the sale. Most lenders provide a settlement figure, which can be paid directly before transferring ownership.
Why trade in at a dealership?
Trading in at a dealership is quick, convenient, and hassle-free. While private sales may achieve a higher price, dealerships offer speed, security, and immediate payment — ideal if you want a straightforward transaction.
How do I stay safe when selling privately?
Meet buyers in public places, verify payment before handing over the keys, and always notify the DVLA once the vehicle is sold. Avoid sharing unnecessary personal details and trust your instincts during the sale process.
