Vehicle Sales
11. Sale Type & Status
We are a licensed motor trader. Unless expressly stated otherwise, sales to private individuals are consumer sales under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 (CRA). Vehicles marked “trade sale” or “spares/repair” are excluded from consumer protections where lawfully permitted. “Sold as seen” only confirms the buyer’s inspection; it does not remove statutory rights.

Descriptions are provided using V5C, MOT history, and third-party data with reasonable care. We are not liable for inaccuracies in third-party databases. Mileage is not guaranteed unless expressly stated “mileage warranted.”
13. Roadworthiness & Spares/Repair
Vehicles advertised for road use undergo a basic safety check. Vehicles marked “spares/repair / not for road use” must be trailered/towed. Driving unroadworthy vehicles on public roads is illegal. This compliance follows UK Trading Standards guidance.
14. Inspections & Test Drives
Buyers are strongly encouraged to conduct independent inspections. Test drives require valid driving licence & insurance. The driver is fully responsible for any fines, penalties, or damage during test drives.
15. Warranties
No warranty is provided beyond statutory rights unless a written warranty is purchased. Warranty (if provided) covers only parts expressly listed. Wear items (tyres, brakes, clutches, bulbs, fluids) are excluded.
16. Deposits, Reservations & Cooling-Off
On-premises sales: deposits are non-refundable except where statutory rights apply. Distance/off-premises sales: where a contract is concluded remotely, buyers may cancel within 14 days under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. We may deduct: (a) value lost through use/mileage; (b) delivery/collection/administration costs. To minimise disputes, most sales are completed on premises.
17. Title & Risk
Title passes only once cleared funds are received. Risk transfers at collection/delivery. If buyer fails to collect, we may charge £25/day storage and/or re-sell.
18. Part-Exchange
Part-exchange valuations are conditional on: Clear legal title; No undisclosed finance, damage, or faults. We may revalue/reject a trade-in upon inspection.
19. Damage, Write-Offs & Modifications
Any known history (Cat S, Cat N, major accident, modifications) will be disclosed where known. Buyer accepts such disclosures and waives later claims on them.
20. Remedies & Limitations
CRA consumer remedies apply (reject, repair, replacement, price reduction). We exclude all liability for indirect or consequential loss to the fullest extent permitted by law.
21. Misuse & Wear
We accept no liability for faults caused by misuse, racing, neglect, overloading, remapping, or continued use after warnings.
22. Entire Agreement
These Terms and the invoice/order form the entire agreement. No oral statement or representation is binding unless confirmed in writing. If any term is invalid, the remainder shall remain in force.
